Inspired by earth colors. This is what I wore to Philippine fashion week last Friday. Almost everything I’m wearing here all came from a department store! I’m all for affordability haha! Nothing wrong with that, it all boils down to the styling and how you wear it!
I’ve been looking for an olive cargo jacket for quite some time and never did I imagine that I would find it in Landmark! Never underestimate department stores because they hold lots of treasures. Haha so always keep your eyes open!
My personal favorite from the Ronnie Fieg x Sebago collaboration. The hand sewn, Dominican Republic-made mid cut Iroquois boot features a high grade thick suede upper and trim along with a Vibram Mini-Lug sole. The fringe collar is removable and includes leather laces.
Cosmopolitan Philippines celebrated their 15th year anniversary last May 17 at the NBC Tent. Wasn’t feeling well that day but I just couldn’t miss this! Imagine all the cover girls, models, photographers, editors, writers, everyone who were part of Cosmo were there at the event. I was in awe! That’s probably the main reason why I didn’t get to take much photos from the party! Happy 15th anniversary, Cosmo! Cheers!
This is the first time I’m apologizing for not updating my blog. Haha I’ve been so lazy lately, I don’t know what happened to me! Anyway, this is what I wore to Lady Gaga’s concert (thank you SMART and Lee for the tickets) last Monday! Awesome concert!
Custom-made blazer from Fifth Code. Wore this to prom last year! (P.S. This is how I discreetly smell myself loljk)
Tank top from Cotton On. They’re opening very soon here in the Philippines!
Charcoal grey matte watch from Mutewatch. It’s a very minimal and discreet timepiece, you wouldn’t know it’s a watch until you tap the touchscreen to activate the display. Also available in red and white.
It also has a USB port which can be found beneath the wrist strap! Just charge your watch and you’re good to go! Mutewatch is available in Digital Walker(Trinoma, Eastwood and Alabang Town Center).

The awesome people behind Get Sole made this DG MNL shirt for me and you guys! It’s now available here(in black, white and grey). Added hints of red to spice up this black and white outfit. Even my cellphone case is red, lol. Have a great weekend!
I was chosen as one of the brand ambassadors for Canon IXUS Style and Substance Philippines along with four young and talented (and very beautiful) style bloggers. So honored to be part of the Canon family and to be the only guy representing this line! Who knew? Here are some outtakes from the shoot:
They showed me a photo of James Dean as the inspiration for this one. Felt a little weird because I am usually either the photographer or the stylist. So being the one being photographed is actually 10x more challenging I must say! Haha!
Feeling Michael Jackson lol. This denim on denim on denim look was styled by The Carlos Concepcion! They also colored some parts of my hair blue! Hype this on lookbook here.
Meet the brand ambassadors of Canon IXUS Style and Substance: Kryz Uy, Patricia Prieto, Cheyser Pedregosa and Lissa Kahayon. Looking great, ladies!
And here’s mine! What do you guys think? The blue Canon IXUS 230HS is such a stylish piece and also great for events! Photographed by Wesley Villarica, styled by Carlos Concepcion, make up by Joyce Platon and hair by Rhoy Cervantes.
Win this bucket of Ray-Ban goodies which includes: a canvas bag, a shirt, a notebook, 3 pins, a pouch and a care kit for your Ray-Ban shades! (I’ll be giving away a pair of Ray-Ban shades next week). Here’s how you can win those goodies!
1) Comment on this post (via disqus) and tell me why you love Ray-Ban!
Before anything else, I reached my 1 million mark last Saturday! Thank you guys for all the support (awkward). I have series of giveaways lined up this week, starting today! Anyway, this is me trying to be mature, lol. Wore this to a meeting and a semi-formal event.
It’s tank top season! In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been wearing a lot of tank tops recently this summer. I’ve been also getting a lot of messages about how I turn my shirts into tank tops and asking me to make a tutorial post so here it is! It’s really quick and easy!
WHAT YOU NEED: a pen or pencil, scissors and the shirt you’re going to cut.
STEP 1: Find a tank top that fits you well and use it as a guide/pattern. Lay the tank top flat over the shirt and align them. You can cut it right away or sketch the outline first like I did.
STEP 2: Cut the sleeves, it’s up to you how high or low you want the sides to be.
STEP 3: Carefully cut the neckline. Don’t risk it by cutting it too low right away. Start cutting the neckline high and round then just keep cutting again if you want to make it lower.
…AND YOU’RE DONE! That’s it! Hope this helped! Tweet me @davidguison if you have any questions and submit your own DIY work! Here’s more of my do-it-yourself tank tops!
Inspired by The Simpsons! I get ideas and inspirations from the most random things, haha! Thanks Alec for taking these photos! Also, I’ll be having a workshop about photography, styling and blogging today, 1-5pm at The Lounge! See you there!
What I wore to the Manila Music Festival yesterday. Great crowd, great music. Definitely going again next year! Also made the right decision to wear my ‘sweatband’ haha it was very hot when I got there. How’s your summer break going so far?
