My first attempt at video shooting and editing! Haha went to the launch of Rajo! For Parisian and Milanos and decided to try something different with my blog posts! Hope you guys like it! Also, congratulations to Rajo Laurel and SM Milanos and Parisian for an amazing show and collection! 

Wore a grey knitted cardigan over a grey button down for a gloomy day in the city. Paired it with bright colored pants and fun printed socks to make the look more interesting. Not something I would usually wear but thought I’ll give it a try. Speaking of pants, check out these pants I got from Levi’s! They’re called sta-prest—designed to maintain its crease, wash after wash. It doesn’t need ironing at all! Perfect for people who are always on the go!

Before anything else, I would like to thank Levi’s for choosing me to be one of their brand ambassadors! Levi’s, is the world’s top denim brand and to be part of the team is definitely a dream come true! Wore this to the Levi’s brand ambassador shoot for their new campaign—Go Forth. The brand’s 2012 campaign is focused on Levi’s Fall/Winter collection, which is “made for those who get dressed each morning with purpose.” This is the first time I paired a jean jacket with jeans—good thing they both have the same wash.

Something casual for the day. The trick with wearing denim on denim is you have to make sure that you mix it up with different fabric weights and washes. For this look, I paired a lightweight chambray shirt with a heavy wash jean. Then added hints of brown to tone down the all denim look.

Had tons of things to do today but I lost my license so I wasn’t allowed to drive—my parents are so strict about this! Good thing Lissa picked me up and accompanied me to all my errands! Finished everything by 4pm, didn’t have time to have lunch so we had fast food for take out (I’ve been having fast food almost everyday!) then took outfit photos for the blog! After that we went to the Cotton On opening at Mall of Asia—so happy it’s finally here in Manila! They offer good basics and nice fitting chino pants (in neutral colors) for guys. Very affordable too! You guys should check it out!

Had a shoot for a local brand in SM Manila—it was my first time in the area so after my shoot, I decided to check out Intramuros! Decided to wear 3 elements that don’t really go well together—a tough-looking jacket, a pink shirt and formal shoes (got the shoes for only 900 bucks). Everything I’m wearing can be found at the biggest shopping mall in the country—SM Mall of Asia! Something sporty for the day! I go to the gym twice a week (I started 2 months ago) and still eat at McDonald’s at least four times a week. Baby steps, right? Haha well I just wanted to get a little bit of exercise since I spend so much time in front of the computer because of my course—I’m taking up Multimedia Arts, and of course, blogging. What do you guys think?

Changed into these Vibram Five Fingers after training! I read somewhere that wearing shoes all the time weakens our foot and leg muscles, leaving them underdeveloped and more prone to injury. Vibram stimulates the muscles in your feet and lower legs so it will not only make you stronger and healthier, it also improves your balance, agility and range of motion. It takes a lot of getting used to so I suggest a gradual transition—try wearing them for 1-2 hour intervals the first few weeks and then gradually increase usage as your body strengths and adapts.

I’m lucky enough to live in the tropics, it just takes a 1-2 hour drive from the city and you can get some quiet time at the beach! This time I flew to Palawan for the weekend, it was definitely a fun trip! Wore to the airport (but with a button down) then went straight to the beach! Got my beach playlist ready and I was in paradise!

Went to Palawan for the weekend to take a break from school. Whenever I travel, I make sure I pack light and bring only what’s essential. Also, I’m a budget traveler, I am in the lookout for the cheapest tours, restos and accomodations. Low value or low cost should never translate to low quality. In Go Hotels, you get value for money (got my 3 days 2 nights accommodation for only Php2,388)! Not to mention they have the comfiest bed and sheets! Ahhhh perfect for relaxing after a jampacked day!

Go Hotels Puerto Princesa is a 15-20 minute drive from the airport and stands next to the newly-opened Robinsons Place Palawan Mall!  

The concept of Go Hotels is pretty much the same with its sister company, Cebu Pacific Airlines. Wherein the earlier you book, the lower the rates (as low as php388) you enjoy.

Each room is fully air-conditioned, has a full-length mirror, 2 pillows, an in-room safe and an option of 2 single beds or 1 double bed. Give me a bed like this and I can sleep forever!

I love a good hot shower. The bathroom is modern and clean + it has hot/cold rain and handheld shower. A+++

And the best part, free wi-fi everywhere!! Also, they have a 24/7 transport service, a spa and offers tours around the island! One stop shop in the convenience of your hotel!

They don’t have cabinets but they have these hooks on the wall.

Best Buy—since it’s September already, you might want to consider this as Christmas Gift to your traveler friends: Volume Rebate Travel Bag from Crumpler (Php1,900). Includes a shirt bag, a shoe bag and a sock tube. These compacting compartments maximizes suitcase capacity and organizes your stuff—something I’m not very good at. So you end up with more luggage space!

I was able to stack 4 board shorts and 4 shirts in the bag. All good for the whole trip!
