Ben Sherman proudly celebrates 50 years of British style culture, and a heritage of modernism. To commemorate half a century of modernism, button-down shirts and the legacy left by the man himself, Ben Sherman will be celebrating their 50th anniversary throughout the year. With exciting collaborations, new collections making their debut and new store opening across the globe! 

Staple (noun)—a basic or necessary item; a fundamental principal element; a principal commodity; an essential part, contributing to the whole. 

Whether it’s a classic Harrington jacket, a plain white crew neck t-shirt or a timeless button-down, there are certain items every man should own. Ben Sherman looked at the fundamentals of the modern wardrobe, refining some of their favorite pieces whilst introducing a few ones, perfecting fits and adding fresh colour to familiar styles. 

Ben Sherman presents “British Wardrobe Staples.” A collection of what they believe to be essential items for the wardrobe of the modern gentleman. From Oxford shirts in stripes and spots to gingham, shirting is, as ever, at the heart of the collection. 

Plectrum (Spring 2013) by Ben Sherman looks at the influence of the East Coast scene, bringing together both Jazz inspired styling and at the same time, the attire of artisans across the pond back in Britain. With the spirit of collision becoming a hallmark of the Plectrum collection, this clash of opposing styles creates a new silhouette and inspired design detail, lending the collection a more contemporary sensibility. 

The Shirt Bar—a counter dedicated to shirting and designed to make the task of finding the perfect shirt both easy and enjoyable. Staffed by Ben Sherman’s comprehensively trained expert in shirts, the Shirteliers, it is here that customer’s questions will be answered and shirting solutions delivered with a premium retail experience.
